BatteryNET® Highlights and Benefits.
Custom Service Profiles
The first time a technician uses the BatteryNET® application at
a customer’s site, they will upload that customer profile and
verify the information in BatteryNET® application. Once the proper steps
have been taken to enter the customer data, a world of
information becomes available to the BatteryNET® subscriber
and the client. Results, Reports, Service Records, and the like,
are immediately accessible, and may be customized to fit user preferences. In addition to customized data input, BatteryNET® allows custom formats for reports, and provides the opportunity to
“co-brand” customer web access points, where vendor contact information and logo can be displayed, as well as the customer’s logo and data.
Tracking Data
What kind of information can BatteryNET® track? Anything from UPS
and Network Hardware service records, to HVAC and facility- wide data
(BatteryNET® capabilities can be customized for other enterprise-level
service tracking as well. BatteryNET® allows recordable data to be
submitted in a broad spectrum of formats to ensure all UPS/Charger/HVAC/Battery
manufacturers’ equipment is included). Once defined, the BatteryNET®
application will allow specific parameters to be applied – from input and
reporting fields to format and scope to ensure that necessary data is collected
for every service record being tracked. MVS Managers will be equipped to
customize the procedures that are performed at any given location, all via the
BatteryNET® web client interface.
Reporting
Custom reports will bear a familiar
look-and-feel to satisfy requirements for uniform formats that meet the needs
of every facility’s service group. Custom report distribution is
scheduled
with ease, and account managers can specify report delivery requirements
on-demand. Reports can be delivered via e-mail
or fax, and can also be generated as hardcopy and sent via
postal or overnight carrier. The fees for reporting are
transactional, so customers only pay for the data that they
require, keeping the cost to facilities at a minimum.
Certification, Training, and the BatteryNET® Network.
While the BatteryNET® concept and
application are easy to
grasp, we desire to assist our partners in becoming the most effective
providers in their respective industries. Our response to this goal is the
establishment of the BatteryNET® Virtual
University. Lynai Data is developing a web-based training and certification
program to ensure the proper use of our products,
and instruct users – be they technicians, managers, or end-users
– to leverage all of the benefits that BatteryNET® has to offer.
At the successful completion of the BatteryNET® courseware,
individuals will become certified and will be provided with back-up
documentation, and given materials that will assist them in marketing this
accomplishment to their current and prospective customer base. Additionally,
certified BatteryNET® organizations
will become a part of the sanctioned BatteryNET® Network, which
will be provided to manufacturers, integrators, and end-users via
the LDI web site, increasing opportunities for growth.
