How Does
BatteryNET® Work?
BatteryNet has been in use for over 7 years by major UPS manufacturers, proven reliable, earned it's place as a maintenance necessity.
BatteryNET® doesn’t re-invent the vendor/client relationship, it simply provides a mechanism to store service data and present
it back to all authorized individuals for review. Data is stored through a centralized “data-mall,” where the content is widely accessible, protected, and properly backed-up for quality and information assurance. The BatteryNET® application is run from
the Service Provider’s laptop, and uploaded through the BatteryNET® Secure web interface. This is the data management backbone
of the system -- and through this portal --
administration of site and vendor profiles, reviews of inspection reports and the releasing suspended reports are performed.
The steps to using
BatteryNET®
are simple…
-
Clients, Vendors, or Property Management Companies determine to use
BatteryNET®.
-
Facility Service Profiles and Records are uploaded to the
BatteryNET® Database remotely.
-
All subsequent service and maintenance activities are recorded in the
customer’s BatteryNET® account.
-
Reports can be viewed 24/7/365 by any authorized party – from anywhere in
the world.
-
Reports are requested and delivered in an automated process.
BatteryNET®'s Master ID’s method enables clients to
search all equipment located at their site and displays the information for
review via the web. With BatteryNET®, reporting is more concise, and data
can be entered in two distinct manners, according to the user’s desire:
-
Through an interface with the Alber Cellcorder, Biddle Byte or Midtronics Micro
Celltron.
-
And manually using discrete test equipment.
BatteryNET® is an LDI developed, Windows®-based
application that is free to BatteryNET® subscribers. The executable is
obtained via the Partner Link on LDI’s web site. Once installed,
certified partners will use BatteryNET® on their workstation, and will be
empowered to enter inspection data while at customer sites – recording
P/M or E/M information specific to the equipment being serviced. Once the
technicians have completed their service, they simply transfer inspection data
to the centralized BatteryNET® data mall via the web or an 800-number.
